The Brooklands Racing Circuit Ghost – The Ghost of Percy Lambert Brooklands Racing Circuit (near Weybridge) is famous for both its motoring and aviation history. The world’s first motor racing circuit was built here in 1907. It is also said that the old Brooklands racing circuit is haunted by the ghost of Percy Lambert. Percy Edgar Lambert (1881 – 1913) Was the first person to drive an automobile a 100 mph. Unfortunately Lambert was killed at Broolkands race circuit while trying to re-capture his world land speed record. As he was speeding around the track at an average speed of 110 mile per hours, his rear tyre blew (thought to have melted from the sheer heat of friction) This tragic accident happened just 2 weeks before he was due to marry and give up the dangerous sport of motor car racing for good Many sightings have been recorded of a figure dressed in white overalls wearing a helmet, and then just fading to nothing. Other sightings / strange events at the circuit include doors opening and shutting by themselves, sounds of footsteps… but no one there, engines revving up by themselves, tyres screeching at 2am in the morning… Many blame these events on Ghost of Percy Lambert, regretfully revisiting the circuit where his tragic end was met
I was at the Brooklands skate park tonight with my two teenagers and their friend. They were taking photos at about 5pm for a school project. The night was clear and dry. One photo shows a cloud of mist surrounding one of them which wasn’t visable to the eye, we can see what looks like a skull shape in it. And three have large energy balls in them. Really spooky.
